Day 140 - Our Last Day - Again

Our last day of the second-to-last leg of our Loop.  It’s hard to believe.  We woke up to fog.  After making coffee, the Captain and I gathered our laundry and drove the courtesy car to the Laundromat.  I always like it when we can get to a Laundromat as we can do all the laundry at once.  We were back around 10:45 am and made breakfast with the odds and ends of food we had left.  The sun had come out and there was a parade of boats on the river behind us.

The next few hours were spent doing final clean-up prior to leaving the boat for 3 weeks.  Dad got a pass on cleaning and watched the PGA tournament.  Late in the afternoon the rain returned, this time hanging around into the evening.   At 6:00 pm, the marina owner drove us to the Syracuse Airport for our flight home.  We were a few minutes late leaving, but that was made up in the air.

I spent some thinking about all the places we had been so far, the different experiences, the history, and the people (boaters, townspeople, old friends, family) we met or who joined us along the way.  I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to take this trip on our boat.
